CLAY SURFACE DECORATION WITH KYM OWENS

11/2     (10a-5p)

Discover how to refine your pottery by learning multiple decorating techniques. Ceramic artist, Kym Owens will demonstrate how to decorate your work using different techniques such as slip trailing, Mishima, and carving. Students bring their own leather-hard greenware pots (cups are best) for hands on decorating. You will also learn how to make your own slip, so bring your trimmings with you to class.

Students should bring their own tools and pots. Please see list below.

Group will break for 1 hour lunch.
